Dynamic Design is having a DANCE!!! 7:00-9:00p.m. January 28th. The cost is $3.00 per person. Grades 6-8.

The Open Doors Dance class from session one will meet on Tuesday, Feb 8th at 3:15 and then will perform at the basketball game at 4pm.
Session A students are welcome in the cafeteria at 2:45. Parents are invited .

The Abbey has been fielding many calls about the new Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act signed by the President on December 13, 2011. They are very excited about the new nutritional standards set out by the legislation – more fruits and vegetables, lower fat, less salt and sugar. The Abbey has already adopted many of the proposed changes but there will be a transition period to allow food manufacturers time to reformulate popular food items.

To date, The Abbey has increased dark green and orange vegetables on the school menu as well as legumes. They have also switched from 2% to 1% non-flavored milk. Chocolate flavored has always been 0.5%.
