A trip to the fruit & veggie bar comes with every lunch!

Have you returned your child’s application for school meals yet?

If you haven’t, please take some time to fill it out now!  Even if you think your child won’t qualify, we are asking every family to turn in an application.  Many families who think they won’t qualify discover that they do!

Also, when your child qualifies for school meals and gets counted, you are helping every child at St Albans City School.  That is because the amount of grant money our school receives, and the opportunity to serve meals at no charge to every student during the summer and afterschool, is all based on the percentage of students who enroll in our school meal program.

Starting this year, there are no more reduced-price breakfasts or lunches!  All students who qualify for school meals will receive breakfast and lunch at no charge.  It has never been more worth it for you to complete and return the school meal application.

So you see, when you turn in your child’s application for school meals, you are making a big difference, not just for your family, but for everyone in your community and for all the students at St Albans City School.

Don’t delay!  Fill yours out today!

If you have questions, or would like assistance filling out the application, please call or email Desiree Gunter at gunterd@fcsuvt.org or 527-0565, and we will be glad to help.  We keep all of the information on the school meals application completely confidential.
