Eddie Morrie

OUR SCHOOL FAMILY CELEBRATES EDDIE MORRIE
Eddie worked at St. Albans City School until about two years ago. She shared her sunny demeanor at the front lobby desk and in the library. Eddie made a ton of friends at the school and they are sad to know that Eddie is now in her last days of battling pancreatic cancer. Staff members have been sending in pictures of themselves wearing red Eddie T-shirts as a way of sending her love and well wishes. These pictures and a few others honor the great person that Eddie is.

Words of support for Ms. Eddie. April 23, 2020

All,

I heard the sad news about Ms. Eddie tonight. In my tenure with SACS I came to know this strong and powerful warrior woman. I have never met a person that was so determined, so focused on her contribution to 'her' kids and her recovery as this woman. She never let herself have a sad day at school (at least publicly) and I believe she drew strength from 'her' kids, her friends and her school family. This is a person I would like to aspire to become and I admire her for everything she brought into my life. I will continue to carry a piece of Ms. Eddie in my heart forever. Thank you for sharing her with me. God's Peace to you all.
