  • Favorite subject was P.E. and he had it 5 days a week
  • Favorite UA class was P.E. and Industrial Arts (woodshop, metal shop, small engines, drafting)
  • Had so many favorite teachers that he can’t pick just one
  • Good Friends were Luke Cioffi and John Boomhover. They are currently coaching a hockey team together.
  • Favorite memories as a student “was my 7th & 8th grade years. We had some great times with the band on exchange trips, spaghetti dinners, marching, and districts. Our after school sports (Suicidal Sports Association) with our teachers will always be remembered for the extreme competition and camaraderie. The gym show used to be the highlight of the year. The many events and stunts were amazing. It is hard to believe they let most of 7th & 8th graders light up candles in the gym! The time and effort Mr. Marlow and Ms. Z put into the show must have been exhausting.”

  • When I came back to City School “all of my former teachers were extremely supportive and influential in shaping who I am as a teacher. I found my new colleagues were wonderful and kind to me. My education continued with them as I joined them in our work every day. For the first year it was a bit awkward calling my teachers by their first names (My parents would never let me do that!) and trying to get to know them as my peers. It was a bit strange at first but once I got to know them as my colleagues it was a blast”

  • Made lots of great friends when the schools merged and she came to City School. She still keeps in touch with many of them.
