FALL SPORTS FOR SACS STUDENT-ATHLETES IN GRADES 5th-8th WILL BE HAPPENING!
Fall Sports for SACS will begin on Monday, September 14th and end the week of October 19th.
Facial Coverings are required to be worn by ALL players, coaches, officials, staff, and spectators at ALL times. An exception is provided for participants in cross country- both practice and interscholastic meets/competitions- so long as physical distancing is maintained between individuals using staggered starts or means.
IF permitted under "Guidance for Specific Types of Sports", school-based fall sports may initiate interscholastic games and meets WHEN Vermont Schools will reach Step III as described in the Strong and Healthy Guidance. All Vermont schools will begin the Academic Year in Step II and the decision to move to Step III will be determined by the Department of Health.
There will be no transportation provided by the school to local games and scrimmages.
There will be no use of lockers or locker rooms or to the building after school is dismissed.
There will be no use of restrooms during competition or practices.
