Announcements 06-11-10

Dear Parents/Guardians,

It is hard to believe that our school year is winding down and that summer is almost here. Our last school day will be Friday, June 11th . It will be a full day with students arriving and leaving at their usual times. Report cards will be issued on that day.

On Monday, June 14th we have planned a very special Student Step-Up Celebration for this year’s Kindergarten students entering first grade, third grade entering fourth grade and six grade entering seventh grade. We know these children are anxious to meet their new Learning Community teachers as well as their new surroundings and this Step-Up Day will provide the perfect opportunity for this to happen.

This event will start at 8:00 am and end at 10:00 am. Both A and B session will arrive and depart on their usual bus but will ride together. Bus Drivers will start picking up A session at approximately 7:20 and B session pickup should start at approximately 7:40. All students will be greeted in the cafeteria by their next year’s Learning Community teachers then proceed to their new classrooms.

An invitation will be sent to all Kindergarten, grade 3 and grade 6 students only, to attend this very special Step-Up Day Celebration. It will be a fun and informational time for all who attend.
