Spotlight on Team USA
Wednesday, Team USA had a visit from Mr. Armando Vilaseca, the Vermont Commissioner of Education. The purpose of the visit was to help Team USA celebrate the third place finish in the National Contest "Teams That Make a Difference". The contest, sponsored by the Association of Middle Level Education honors those teams across the country who have proven effectiveness in teaching middle school students. Mr. Vilaseca praised the current students and the many former students of Team USA who were also in attendance. The students heard speeches from current students, former students, Ms. Cavallo, the Principal, Mr. Emerson Lynn, and of course the Commissioner.
