Spotlight on VKAT

On April 19th, the VKAT members presented at the St. Albans' Dinner and Dialog night. The students talked about the Healthy Retailer Project they are doing with Hannaford Supermarket. They have done an audit of Hannaford's tobacco and alcohol advertising and product placement and are in the process of writing a report of their findings which will include recommendations of a few small changes they'd like to see Hannaford make that will make their store an even healthier place to shop. Next they will meet with the manager of Hannaford to talk with him about their findings, give him their report and discuss small changes that can make a big impact. Great work VKAT and Hannaford!


Walk & Roll to School Day


Today (5/2)  is The First Annual Vermont Walk & Roll to School Day! If you walk or bike to school today, you can put your name in to a raffle for some great prizes. Mrs. Trainer and Mrs. Gunter will be at the front door, make sure you check in to have your name put in for the raffle.

The PTO will reconvene in the Fall. There are no more meeting for this school year.
