News from Team Imagination

Team imagination's 2nd & 3rd graders have been so lucky this year to learn more about science from St. Albans' very own Dr Einstein and her assistant Filbert.    On Friday she visited to speak to the students about aerodynamics. After accidentally dropping an egg on our classroom floor she challenged our budding engineers to create an egg protector. She provide the students with an array of supplies including tin foil, pipe cleaners, paper towels and paper clips to name a few.  The students created a variety of protectors that were so good that Dr Einstein thought the eggs could survive a fall from the roof. A few phone calls later Mr. Pelkey was on the roof of the school while we cheered on each egg drop. Four of the egg protectors worked!  We all learned a lot and had so much FUN experimenting.  We want to Thank Dr Einstein and Filbert!
