SACS Day of Coding

On December 9th, City School will be hosting Day of Coding, a school-wide event to observe Computer Science Education Week. During the school day, all students and teachers (PreK-8th grade) will take part in activities designed to introduce the valuable skill of coding and engage the critical thinking skills necessary to be successful.
Our technology team has put together resources so each individual can actively and independently explore coding. The events will range from experiencing coding on digital tools, to unplugged activities, to exciting presentations from experts in the field.

While we have a number of potential experts to present and support our students and staff with the activities, we are in need of more. So, if you're experienced in coding and interested in being involved (as a presenter or classroom support), contact Matt Allen at allenm@fcsuvt.org.
