It's National School Breakfast Week. Be sure and start your day in the cafeteria with a healthy breakfast. 

Breakfast is FREE for all SACS Students!

SACS News

Just before break, Vermont Secretary of Education, Rebecca Holcombe, came to visit and spent almost the entire day at our school.  She visited Learning communities and she was very impressed by SACS students and all of the work that they are doing. A film crew was also here working on a show about technology in schools featuring SACS. 

Band

There are no pull out band lessons for 6th grade today.

Sr. Band is most definately rehearsing today. Anyone who asks Mr. Mehaffey if there is band, well the consequences will not bear repeating. Be warned.

Jr. Band is rehearsing tomorrow, and 6th grade violins are having lessons at 8 tomorrow.

Seed Fundraisers are due to Mrs. Gunter tomorrow and T-Shirt forms are due on Friday. 

Field Trip

Team Triumph is going to Jay Peak today.

Walk to School

Don't Forget Walk to School Day on Friday March 7th

Think hard about joining your school mates walking in to school on Friday.  See if one of our six "Walking School Bus" passes near you and join us along the way. Boost fitness and reduce gas use by being a part of this event.  Collect a wrist band and other items for participating.  Parents and walking leaders can get free coffee and oatmeal at the Cafeteria afterwards and a ride home if need be.

Please sign in at the front desk every day that you walk or bike in, not just walk-to-school days.

Open Doors

This is a friendly reminder that the Open Doors Hip Hop Extreme Dance class is not meeting today, Wednesday, March 5th.

The Open Doors Wed Drumming for Success class is meeting today, Wednesday, March 5th.

Tutoring

There is no tutoring this week.
