Bike Safety Reminder

We had a super biking and walking to school turnout on our first full day of school (Thursday August 28th).  Just check out the bike rack picture to see how big turnout was.  Keep up the good exercise!

Remember that we expect students to wear helmets if you bike, rollerblade, scooter or skateboard to school.  Parents and older students can help the school community by being helmet role models for young students.

If, as suggested, you are using the sidewalks to bike to school, we ask that you walk your bike across crossings.

For helmet questions, please contact Mitch Craib 802 527-0565 x3217 craibm@fcsuvt.org

Open Doors

Students that completed the Red Cross Babysitting course this summer
can pick up their certificate and first aid kit at the Open Doors office if you were unable to pick it up at the resource fair.

If you are in 5th-8th grade, and would like to get your name on the list for a future babysitting course, now is the time to call Open Doors or stop by the office.  We may be able to offer another class this year.
