One hundred and seventy three students and nineteen school staff and parents took part in the 1st "Walk to School Day" of the school year (192 Total). On a grey morning with accommodating temperatures, seven groups of walkers from all over the city converged on St.Albans City School between 7:30 and 8:00am. All students who signed in were offered a sticker and a pencil demonstrating that they had walked or biked into school. Adults who participated were welcome to coffee and oatmeal at the cafeteria. We hope this excellent participation increases with each scheduled walk. The dates of all scheduled "Walk to School Days" are listed below.
In October & May will have Walking Wednesdays each week.

Athletics
Girls 7/8 Soccer will practice this week from 3:45 - 6:00. Beginning next week, practice will be from 3:45 - 5:00.
Boys 5/6 Boys Soccer practices Tues, Wed, & Thurs. 5 - 6:15
