Helmet Order Forms
If you need a bike or ski helmet, and have not already turned in the paper work for one, then please take a helmet order form home with you this afternoon and bring it to school tomorrow. Forms are available in the school lobby. Or, Link to printable PDF of Helmet Order Form The due date for forms is Friday (tomorrow) September 11th.
Music with Frank Mehaffey
Today (Thursday) is string lesson day for violins, viola, cello and bass. Please check with Mr. M if you are not sure of when your lesson is. Full Orchestra is this afternoon, and Jazz Band is rehearsing at 2:00pm.

1st Full Day for Pre-K and Kindergarteners
On Wednesday September 9th Pre-K and Kindergarten students came to St. Albans City School for an orientation day. Children learned what to expect in the classrooms and parents learned about busing, proper communication channels with school staff, our meal program and much more. Please welcome these new students to St. Albans City School community.
Walk to School Day Report
217 people (193 students & 23 adults) either walked or biked to school on Wednesday September 9th. The weather was kind to the walkers with temperatures in the low seventies, a slight breeze and lots of sunshine. Thank you to everyone that came out and joined in. Please consider participating in October when there will be a "Walking Wednesday" every Wednesday of the month.

Discovery Makes a Request
Dear Raiders, Discovery students worked really hard on our team building balloon project. We are kindly asking for you to respect our work in the hallway. The balloons are fragile. Thanks for helping us soar to new heights.
