Consider this fact as we collect food for Operation Happiness:
Operation Happiness Information
Thanks to all of the learning communities who have already brought in non-perishable food items. It would be very helpful if everyone started to bring in more. Items like, canned food, boxed cereal, crackers, pudding, ramen noodles and pasta sauce. The learning community with the most items by December 16th will receive a brownie ice cream party! Keep up the good work!
Breaking News! Explorers has collected 235 non-perishable items! Way to go! Voyagers are second with 101 items and Travelers hold 3rd place with 89 items. We have 18% of our goal collected. We encourage every community to help out with Operation Happiness. Thank you so much to all of the learning communities that have contributed to this important cause. Keep up the awesome work!

Team Triumph Math Project
Triumph has been learning about proportions and ratios. Students were given a cutout of a large hand and had to draw a person proportional to the size of that hand. All of the 6th graders worked in cooperative groups to build a giant. There are 5 giants in all!
Here are two examples of their work.
