7/8 Boys Practice 4:45 to 6:00PM

Band

String lessons are on for today and starting with 8th grade violins at 8:30am and 8th grade cello at 9:00am.
6th grade violin lessons are at 2:00pm today.
Full orchestra is rehearsing today at 2:40pm. Sr. Band is not rehearsing today.

Drama next week

Drama students need to bring in their permission slips by the end of Friday. If students need another slip then see Ms. Hartman.
Drama will start Monday, 3:30-4:45

The Lion King Parent and Community Information Meeting -TONIGHT (1-7-2016)

Parents and community members are invited to an informational meeting regarding this year’s production of The Lion King. This meeting will take place at 6:00PM in the music room at St. Albans City School (located near the large gym). The meeting is meant to provide information to parents and answer any questions there may be. We are also looking for volunteers to help with various parts of the show! Please spread the word to parents and community members that would be interested!

Discovery Video
Discovery used some of their Fun Friday time this fall to create a video that goes with the song "I'm Good" by the Mowgli's. With a focus on citizenship, Discovery students worked together and delegating specific roles to everyone allowing each student to have a part in the video. Link to video About 3 minutes long.

Walk to School Day Results for 1-6-2015
56 students and 15 Adults braved the cool January morning temperatures to walk to school. In recent years we had to cancel our January Walking Wednesday due to cold temperatures. Fortunately, Wednesday's conditions were palatable and participants enjoyed the crisp amble to school. Please join us on February 3rd for our next official Walk to School Day.
