Update on Daily Walking School Bus Routes
The daily Messenger Street Walking School Bus will continue until mid-October. The 14th will be the last day when parent leaders from that area of the city will supervise the route. The Walking Wednesdays scheduled throughout October and the rest of the year will continue as planned.
The daily walking school buses from the Barlow Street and Houghton Park areas will have to wait until spring when we expect to have enough leaders to manage the routes. However the Walking Wednesdays scheduled from these areas will continue throughout October and the rest of the year.

For Snacks today we have plums
- Insects, such as honeybees are the main pollinators of plum tree flowers. Plum crops are much reduced unless there are plenty of bees around.
- The plum belongs to the group of stone fruit (it has single seed protected with pit). The pit can be firmly attached to the surrounding flesh (known as clingstone type) or it can be easily separated from the flesh (known as freestone type).
Students may take two fruit servings with each meal. They must take at least one.
