AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING Monday - Holiday No School Wednesday January 4th HW Club Tuesday January 3rd HW Club Thursday January 5th HW Club Note: There will be no Tutoring after school on Wednesday, January 4th. Tutoring will start back on Monday, January 9th. Note: Open Doors Session 3 will start on January 9th and only homework club will meet the 3rd, 4th and 5th - acceptance letters will go home January 3rd.

BAND Full Jr. Band and Sr. Band are meeting tomorrow. Beginning trumpets are also on Thursday. The 6th graders in Sr. Band are going to be performing with the Jr. Band rehearsal on Thursday, and not with Sr. Band for the day. Beginning violins and cello lessons are this afternoon.

RECESS WEATHER Once again, dress well if you plan to head out for recess.  It looks like rain at recess time.

IMPORTANT DATES Everyone: Jr. Band Concert January 10th.  7:00 to 8:00 PM. Location will be the Cafeteria. Everyone: Walking Wednesday for January January 11th.  This is the only walk to school day of the Month.  Please join in if you can. Everyone: Orchestra Concert January 11th.  6:30 PM.  Location will be the Library. Cancelled - SACS Community: St. Albans City School Board Meeting January 12th.  6:00 PM.  Location will be the Library Everyone: Martin Luther King Holiday January 16th.  NO SCHOOL. Parents, Students and Staff: In-service Work Day for Teachers. NO SCHOOL for students.  January 17th. Parents and Staff: Friends of St. Albans City School Meeting January 17th.  6:00 PM. Location will be the Library. Everyone:  Solo Band Concert for Sr. Band Students January 25th.  7:00 PM.  Location will be the Library.

SNACK ROOM REQUEST Only Clean items should be returned to the Fruit Room. If your basket is dirty, bring it to the dishwasher station.  Compost Buckets should be dropped off at the Dishwasher Station no later than 12:30 PM.  Trays, silverware, etc. also need to be brought to the Dishwasher station by 12:30 PM. Snacks should be picked up by 1:00 PM.   Thank you everyone.
