          PICTURES AND REPORTS

Box Tops Big Collectors Winter Contest - Week 4

Thanks to one BIG contribution from one of their classmates and some modest contributions from a few others, Renaissance was the biggest collectors in Week 4! Renaissance will proudly display the Box Tops Big Collectors Banner in their hallway this week.

We are exactly 500 Box Tops away from our updated goal to reach 4,000 Box Tops by February Vacation.  The Money Makers will only collect one more time (next Thursday, February 23rd) and there's only one more opportunity for your community to be the Big Collectors!  A special prize awaits the overall winners, as well!

Most importantly, our school's next submission deadline is March 1st, so it is very important to bring in any and all Box Tops you have ASAP and before vacation begins!!!

Triumph Students Worked on Their "Empty Bowls" Project
Bowls could be made with clay using three possible methods: Making a slab pot, a pinch pot or a coiled ring pot.  Once these bowls are completed in later classes they will be donated to Martha's Kitchen and sold as part of a fundraising project for that organization. Martha's Kitchen supplies free meals to local hungry Vermonters.  Art teacher, Ms. Martinson, taught the students what to do.
