PICTURES AND REPORTS
BRIDGES Bridges students spend time learning how to care for "pets" in the Pet Vet Center. They are also learning some important ways to get along as well as some literacy and math skills too!
TRIUMPH Every Spring Triumph students work with Mr. Branon to collect maple sap from the trees around the school property. On Friday 2-24-2017, this group of students drilled holes in trees, placed taps in those holes and then hung buckets to collect sap. In the next few weeks Triumph will be boiling down some of their sap to make syrup. Maple sugaring is Triumph's stewardship project. BFA STUDENTS On Friday March 24th students at BFA had a half day off. Many former SACS students returned to St. Albans City School for an alumni day visit in the early afternoon. They shared their BFA experiences with the 7th ad 8th graders, just as older students had done for them at SACS in years past. ADVENTURERS Some of the adventurers visited Branon's Sugar House last week. They enjoyed seeing the sugaring operation and the big farm machinery. |
