SUMMER PROGRAMMING REPORTS AND PICTURES
BREAKFAST/MORNING MEETING PICTURES
MINECRAFT Almost all children love the computer-based building game of Minecraft. Ms. Cameron-Muscente has become quite skilled at it herself and enjoys challenging kids with fascinating tasks. Pictures by Ms. Brace and Mrs. Cameron-Muscente.
COOKING/FOOD PREP Many camp kids are obtaining kitchen skills each day as they rotate through different activities in the Open Doors Summer Programming. And, the best part of the experience is getting to taste their work when they are done. Pictures by Ms. Brace. CRAFT WORK Pictures by Mrs. Cain or Ms. Brace
EXPLORING LOCAL ENVIRONMENTS
MONDAY MORNING - Adventures in Hard'Ack
We got dirty, wet, muddy, sweaty and we learned ... It was GREAT!!
We learned why Hard'Ack is called Hard'Ack, identified invasive bushes that are spreading from expensive neighbour landscapes to Hard'Ack via berry eating birds, hunters toilet paper, acorn cap whistles, Wolf Monument, Saint Albans City Lookout, bugs, slugs and so much more!

MONDAY AFTERNOON - St. Albans Town Forest
Monday afternoon adventure of Exploring our local Ecosystems. The Town Forest was formerly used as a maple sugar bush. It has now been converted to a destination with hiking and bird watching trails. A small pond can be accessed by one of the trails. To get to the forest the crew drove a few miles over the top of French hill, just east of St. Albans. The Town Forest is less than five miles from St. Albans City School - off of French Hill Road.

TUESDAY AFTERNOON
These pictures were taken at Stevens Brook near Bob's Meat Market. The crew once again collected stream samples for later analysis. They found less diversity of insects and life at this lower point on the brook than they had found higher up earlier in the day.
