SUMMER PROGRAMMING REPORTS AND PICTURES

CONGRESSMAN WELCH'S REPRESENTATIVES VISITED
Susan Elliot and Cordelia Bell came to St. Albans City School to observe the summer feeding and Open Doors programs. Congressman Welch supports funding summer feeding sites and experiential and educational camp programs and he wanted to get a sense of how things are going at SACS. Cordelia is a former student at St. Albans City School and is interning at Mr. Welch's office. They appeared to enjoy their visit to our school.

T-SHIRTS FOR HUMANITIES CAMP STUDENTS
Vermont Humanities Camp Director, Allie Palmer, came to check out the Humanities Camp run by Mrs. Bashaw and Mrs. Pallas.  She brought t-shirts for all the camp participants.  She also enjoyed watching the "wizard lunch" put on by camp staff and students in which kids played assigned roles and had to guess who among them was the "murderer". Great fun.
