Dance Protocol 2017-2018

This year we are again supporting teams and organizations proactively to create opportunities for students. Each month we will support a 4-6 and 7-8 activity night/event. Here are the expectations for attending our dances.

  • Students will enter through the gym entrance for ALL dances
  • Dance hours are 6-8 pm
  • You must arrive promptly to be admitted to the dance

  • Students will sign in so we know who is at the dance
  • No guests from other schools are allowed at our dances
  • Students will not be allowed to leave the dance before the end of the dance unless prearranged with the team hosting the dance, the parent and the administrator
  • Students will be escorted by teachers and chaperones to the front lobby at the conclusion of dance for pick up
  • Please be prompt at pick up as we do not allow students to walk home
  • All pickups will occur through the front of the building
  • Most dances are held as fundraisers for the Learning Community and there is a small entrance fee
  • Concessions are sold and remain peanut free. We limit soda to one per child

CHROMEBOOK GUIDELINE

As you can see in these photos, it shows you what not to do, and what to do with your computer. If you continuously bend your computer past 90 degrees eventually the ribbon cable attached to the screen will come loose and your screen will no longer work.

We should all treat our computers with respect. We want our computers to last, and be usable for doing work on a daily bases. We ask that all students, and teachers keep all computers at 90 or less degree angle. Please and Thank you.
