Important note: For those of you who eat cantaloupe at home, the surface of cantaloupe can be covered with bacteria that can induce serious diseases in humans. Consequently, cantaloupe skin should be thoroughly washed before slicing.

LOST AND FOUND UPDATE

Lost and Found will be separated into three week containers starting 1/29. Items not claimed in Week 1 will be moved to Week 2 and Week 2 Items will be moved to Week 3. At the end of Week 3, any unclaimed items will be donated to our area Food Bank.

It is especially helpful if clothing, boots, and bags are labeled with the student's name. This helps us to identify the owner and return the missing items.  We have available to our families, a permanent marker and tape at the front desk for anyone needing assistance in marking items.

Lost and Found is located in the Front Hall by the Lobby.

PICTURES AND REPORTS

RENAISSANCE AT WORK
A little less than half of the students from team Renaissance were photographed while working on math and science tasks Monday morning 1-29-2018.  LINK TO 54 PICTURES

RECESS
Time outside for movement each day is a generally helpful for dissipating energy built up by being in a classroom too long. However, on Monday students had to be very careful playing outside the ice left behind after recent melt-offs. 1-29-2018
This cluster of students used their outside time to dig out rocks from the ice that could damage sledding once snow returns.
Students played a version of ice-skating kickball on the frozen softball field.

A CALM STATE
Sometimes taking a moment to be mindful can make your day go smoothly.
