PICTURES AND REPORTS

IN A WORLD SO BIG,
DON'T SPREAD HATRED,
SPREAD KINDNESS.

Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Kindness is a behavior marked by ethical characteristics, a pleasant disposition, and a concern for others. Kindness isn’t just about how you treat other people, it’s about how you treat yourself too. Kindness is also showing empathy.  Empathy is the ability to understand someone else’s situation, experience, feelings, and behaviors, and it’s the foundation of this concern. If you want to be generous towards or help someone, first you need to understand where they are and what they’re dealing with.

We are going to celebrate kindness throughout our school this month.  You will find the calendar of kindness on our bulletin board as you enter the school by Mrs. Biggie’s office and again in the hall by Ms. Stacies’s office.  Please join us in being kind to yourself and others.
