SNACKS
Remember that the order of snack availability may be different than what is expected depending on how ripe the fruit or vegetables are when they arrive. This is a very hard time of the year for our cafeteria staff to find large quantities of ripe fresh fruits and vegetables.
Pear trees develop white or pink flowers. Even though pear flowers contain both types of reproductive organs (stamens and pistil), they cannot perform self-pollination. Insects are the main pollinators of pear flowers.
