PICTURES AND REPORTS
MAKERSPACE STUDENTS PLACED WELL IN A COMPETITION Maple Run Unified School District received 2nd place in the 3D Vermont competition held on Friday 3-30-2018 (a statewide competition held in Randolph Vermont) The picture below shows a giant Vermont map with the 3-D printed buildings students created for the competition, generally historic buildings in their home towns. In Maplerun's case, the students printed a model of the old Fairfield Elementary School on Fairfield street. They had to create a detailed sketchup drawing for the 3-D printer to produce the model. This was a huge learning experience for the two students, Jackson and Nick, and for the instructors, Ms. Borst and Ms. Bertucci, who helped them complete the project. USA MENTORING PreK STUDENTS These USA students played games of fish and minnows with Pre-K students from Ms. Audette's Pre-K classroom. The experience meant a lot to the younger students.
