CAMPAIGN TO ELIMINATE STYROFOAM CUPS AT ST. ALBANS CITY SCHOOL
The Stewardship Committee, and students completing an internship with Ms. Martinson, would like teachers and staff to consider avoiding styrofoam cup use for hot and cold drinks. As an alternative, we suggest that you consider purchasing a reusable stainless steel mug. Watch the video below to understand why you might want to switch and what it would cost to do so.  School teachers and staff have been sent an email with a digital order form for the mugs.

TEACHERS/STAFF: CONSIDER SWITCHING TO A SUSTAINABLE CUP
FOR YOUR HOT OR COLD DRINK

Here is what the mugs will look like with the student-designed logos

FITNESS TEAM
Students have been training hard for the annual state fitness team competition.  These pictures were taken on Thursday 4-5-2018 when April temperatures had plummeted and the cold winds were blowing hard. They were photographed out running their 1-mile test course for time.

FILITO TASTE TEST DAY
One of chefs from the Abbey Cafeteria, Jason, prepared small filito taste tests for students to try. These are a type of burrito that was recently tested and presented at the Vermont Jr. Iron Chef competition by our students. Today was a chance to try out the felitos to see if we should add them to the menu. Many students did and the majority of those who tried the felitos liked them.  LINK TO 12 PICTURES

VOYAGERS SCHOOL STORE
Voyagers organized their products and socialized at the store counter on Friday 4-6-2018.
