SUMMER MAY BE HERE BUT WORK GOES ON FOR SOME STAFF

Carolyn Pelkey weeds and waters the schools gardens a few hours each day.
The custodial staff remove everything from classrooms and offices to clean floors, carpets, and furniture. It is a massive summer-long job.

The Abbey Staff put together breakfasts and lunches for the St. Albans summer feeding program.

Frank Pelkey tends to building maintenance. Summer is a time for upgrades of equipment and for fixing stuff that is too awkward to tackle during the academic year.
Mrs. Biggie is one of the faces of the school, handing out meals and managing a host of administrative duties.
