UVM EXTENSION VISITORS
On Thursday 8-16-2018 a busload of UVM Extension program visitors spent an hour and a half learning about and viewing the St. Albans City School gardening/farm-to-school program. Mayor Tim Smith gave a welcoming speech. It was followed by introductions to the SACS site by Master Gardener State Coordinator, Beret Halverson and SACS farm-to-school coordinator, Heather Smith. The purpose of the visit was to put St. Albans City School on the map for volunteer work in our many garden spaces. UVM Extension is a part of the university's agricultural college and many talented and knowledgeable people move through their training programs. Those people could have a lot to offer City School. LOST AND FOUND STROLLER
This stroller was left on school property last week. To protect it from the rain it was placed in the alcove of the entrance to the school. If this is your stroller, then please come and retrieve it.
