    PICTURES AND REPORTS

    CODESMYTHS
This last week lots of students have been coming to the library space to learn about Codesmyths. This is a learning opportunity for students to experience how software and games are programmed. It is a demanding opportunity taught by a number of unified arts staff. Students have begun to turn their applications in to see if they will be selected to take part in Codesmyths.

EVERY SCHOOL FRIDAY IS SPIRIT FRIDAY
Come to school wearing blue and white. Teachers wearing white and blue have their names randomly drawn from a hat for some special classroom supplies to be shared with students. Here are this week's winners.
    Ms. Hirschberg

    Mr. Lewis

PUMPKINS FOR PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
Bright Beginnings (kindergarten and PreK) negotiated with Guy's Farm and Yard to supply high quality pumpkins for each of their students. A staff member delivered enough pumpkins for each student to use for their studies of the life cycle of pumpkins. Ms. Lawyer's students carried all the pumpkins over to a central spot for everyone in the community to come and pick one out.
