We will be drawing names for awesome prizes.  If you give the DJ, 50 cents, you can give a shout out to a friend. There will be drinks, snacks and sweets for sale as well. Students will be expected to follow all dance expectations. Students will need to be dropped off at the gym doors entrance and picked up at the front entrance of the school. Please make sure that you are on time to pick up your child.

FAMILIES OF 4TH GRADERS
On Friday, February 22nd, 4th grade will take the NAEP assessment. The links below will take you to letters that explain the expectations for that measurement.

What is NAEP?
It is a Common Measure of Student Achievement

The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) is the only assessment that measures what U.S. students know and can do in various subjects across the nation,
states, and in some urban districts. Also known as The Nation’s Report Card, NAEP has provided important information about how students are performing academically since 1969.

PICTURES AND REPORTS

BFA INFORMATION SESSION
8th graders gathered in the library midday Tuesday 2-12-2019 to hear Preston Randall and other BFA representatives talk about the transition to BFA. Students had a chance to ask them questions they had about signing up for courses, visiting the BFA campus and making new friends in high school.  The information session was kindly recorded on video by a student and can be seen AT THIS LINK

If students or families have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact SACS School Counselor, Allison Goldsmith, at agoldsmith@maplerun.org or 527-0565 (ext. 3874). Additionally, for specific BFA-related questions, you may contact Preston Randall, Director of Guidance, at prandall@maplerun.org or 527-6572.

All papers need to be turned in to classroom teachers by Wednesday, Feb. 20

BREAKFAST IN THE CLASSROOM
Imagination students in Ms. J. Bachand's room chowed on muffins and milk for breakfast. Some of the students were photographed eating and then doing some academic work.  LINK TO 15 PICTURES
