Arrival and Dismissal from Dances:

Students enter through the gymnasium doors and sign themselves into the dance.

School Expectations (Safe, Achieving, Caring) remain at all evening events and that
includes dances.

At the end of our dances, chaperones and staff will walk students through the
building to our front lobby. We will dismiss from there.

Please be prompt for pick up as staff and chaperones need to get home, too.

If your student does not have a ride home, please don’t send them to our dances unless
they have made arrangements before coming to the dance.

BIKING/WALKING SAFETY
The City of St. Albans has called the school to make us aware of an unsafe situation
regarding the parking lot of the city garage on Aldis Street. Please do not bike or
walk through the parking lot, as there are many moving vehicles and heavy equipment
that go through that area. They are requesting that we do not use that as a path to/from school.

BFA ENGINEERING DAY
7th and 8th grade students from St. Albans City School, St. Albans Town Educational Center and Fairfield Center School participated in a range of engineering challenges at BFA high school.  Check out a few of the pictures that were taken on Wednesday, the 20th.  They came from a bridge loading contest, a cup tower height contest, a bristle bot race, an edible car distance rolling contest and a newspaper and masking tape structural support building contest. LINK TO 23 PICTURES

KINDERGARTEN ALUMINUM PULL TABS
Students from Ms. Walsh's and Ms. Lawyer's rooms held up a few of the collection containers they are using to hold the aluminum tabs being gathered this school year. Families and friends are sending in thousands of tabs to kindergarten teachers and students. The aluminum tabs are being collected for a charitable purpose and will be recycled.

HOPE
The hands-on practical education workshop recently created several chairs from scrap pine wood. Check one of them out in the pictures below.
