EVENTS AND NOTICES MAPLE RUN UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT  WELLNESS POLICY  The MRUSD Board is reviewing the revised Wellness Policy and plans to have further discussion and vote on the policy at their May 1 (possibly May 15th) meeting. They would like feedback, which can be provided here: http://www.maplerun.org/policy-feedback--3 C09 Wellness Policy - This policy review is a revision with substantial committee/community input over the last two years.  FREE MATH-BASED GAMES FOR FAMILIES During the week of April 29th, please see Mr. Ashton in the library while you are here for conferences. Visit him for information about the mathematics presented to your child in their grade level as well as questions you can ask your child’s teacher to help you better understand the mathematics they are learning. While you are there get a free math-based game to take home and enjoy with your family! Games are limited to one per family until they are gone. If you have a conference at a time while he is not in the library, let your child’s teacher know and he will get one to you! GREEN-UP DAY IS MAY 4TH LIST OF VOLUNTEERS NEEDED  AS SOON AS POSSIBLE  If you plan to volunteer, then please submit your name, and the work location you would like to be at on that Saturday, to Mr. Craib mcraib@maplerun.org  Houghton Park, Taylor Park, Barlow Street Community Center, Senior Center, SACS RUN/WALK FOR JIM The 20th annual Run/Walk for Jim is happening May 5, 2019.  This fun event has a kids fun run with medals and a trophy for the school with the most participants.   Register at www.runforjimbashaw.com.   If you would like a hard copy of the registration form see Lisa Morton in A9!
