Items like matches, rope, oxygen tanks, food, and an inflatable raft had to be listed in order of importance. Lots of discussions ensued. This exercise was followed by individual presentations given by campers of people they had come to admire from their reading. The atmosphere was supportive and everyone was interested in what each other had to say. 7-18-2019 LINK TO 40 PICTURES SEWING AND CRAFTS Ms. Broomall and Ms. Demag guided campers through the process of sewing together dolls and clothing for them. Basic sewing is a fundamentally useful skill that few people know how to do anymore. Now these campers can thread a needle, add buttons, and repair material whenever they need to do so. Plus, they discovered the joy of doing craftwork. 7-18-2019 EXPLORING LOCAL ECOSYSTEMS - MISSISQUIO NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE The campers traveled north of school to visit and explore this national wildlife refuge.
