SPIRIT WEEK COMFORTABLE CLOTHING DAY  12-22-2022

There was massive participation in comfy clothing day. Most classroom groups were photographed and you can see their pictures at THIS LINK with 41 pictures.

TRIUMPH SKI TRIP TO JAY PEAK.

It was an excellent day for skiing just before the winter holiday break. For many of the Triumph students it was a day of gaining basic skills on the bumps and slopes surrounding the magic carpet lift. That is where the bulk of the pictures were take. For others with more experience skiing, the chairlift beckoned and students and their chaperones tried out some of the more challenging slopes. Included in the picture set linked below are scenes from the morning instruction and gear collection time period plus photos from the indoor times of eating snacks and lunch. Students and staff returned to school at the end of the long day happy and tired. 12-20-2022. Link to 128 Pictures.

MONTH OF CODE DANCE PARTY

DJ Borst and Tech Assistant Huber put on a fantastic dance party on the last day of school before break. The party featured some of the dances students had created with code in the previous weeks. Screenshots were taken of the dance party in progress and of the two dance party managers. Link to 75 Pictures.

USA 8TH GRADE CHICKEN WING ANATOMY LESSON - ROULEAU & CIOFFI

Mr. Rouleau acquired a number of raw chicken wings for students to examine and experiment with. Although chickens are birds, their anatomy has some common ground with human anatomy and both teachers were able to demonstrate that. Wings are much like human arms and when certain tendons on the wings are pulled the wings act much like moving human arms. While students were somewhat grossed out by the lesson, it sure was intriguing and impressive. Link to 26 Pictures. 12-21-2022

DISCOVERY “SNOWMAN” CREATION CHALLENGE

On the last day of school before break, and at the end of the school day, Team Discovery provided students with toilet paper, tape, construction paper and scissors. Their task was to create a realistic looking snowman within a brief time limit. Groups of three or four worked together. One member of each group became the core of the snowman. This was a very successful and fun activity. Link to 19 Pictures.
