News from the SACS Cafe
National School Breakfast week was March 5-9th and we were able to celebrate in the SACS Cafe with different activities, including a fruit and yogurt smoothie taste test on Friday. The taste test was a huge success and soon yogurt smoothies will be available in the Cafe as a breakfast option!
Here is some information about breakfast from the School Nutrition Association:
"Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day for kids, as it provides the necessary energy to get set for a day of learning and achievement. Eating breakfast at school can give children an extra edge."
