In Tech Ed we have been building and programming robots to operate parts of our green city. The 7th and 8th students have been challenged to figure out how to make precise programs that turn on the windmill, place the solar panel on the house or pick up the garbage. They not only have to program their robot, they also have to build parts that are the right fit to accomplish these challenges. Some robots do go astray and have been known to knock over the windmill or other robots!

5th and 6th grade Jr. Band is rehearsing today at 12:15.
Engineering Day
UVM Engineering Day for grades 4-8 is fast approaching. It is a great event where projects are prepared in groups ahead of time and then presented the day of the event. Raiders Got Talent - Voting Starts Today!
We have seen so much talent since the start of the new year, and now the hard part begins. We have to pick finalists to come back and perform for finals week next week. You can vote today and tomorrow at lunch for your favorites, or vote by email to Mrs. Gunter: gunterd@fcsuvt.org.

DRAMA PARENTS:
Drama students are allowed to bring a snack to practice, but PLEASE make sure the snacks are peanut free. We have a student with allergies in the cast. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Rehearsals are going well. Students should practice at home with their CD's and books. They will also be performing a few songs on our Unified Arts Night on January 29th.
