News from The Travelers

On Thursday, January 23rd, the Travelers had a guest speaker via Skype! Our guest speaker was a medical student at Duke University, and we were able to ask her lots of questions about the human body, which is our current thematic unit!  We learned a lot of information about the human body from someone who helps people in hospitals every day!

Band

Beginning Alto Sax, drum and trumpet lessons are today. Do not forget. Jr. Band is rehearsing tomorrow, Tuesday.

NEAP Testing

The fourth graders will be testing today.

St. Albans City School presents WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN!

St. Albans City School would like to welcome all incoming Kindergarteners (children who will be 5 before September 1^st, 2013) and their parents to the 2013-2014 school year.  You are invited to visit us in the Kindergarten on Thursday, April 4th  and Wednesday, May 8^th from 6 pm to 7 pm.   Registration material for Kindergarten screenings will be available.  Your child’s immunization records and birth certificate are required.  For more information, call Helene Biggie at 527-0565 @ ext. 1101.
