Recess in Winter

It is great to see the communities using the six snow tubes on days when there is snow.  On some days the sliding conditions have been ideal with fast long rides and the ability to walk back uphill without loss of traction.  

Band

6th grade violins have lessons this afternoon.

Athletics

The 7/8 Basketball Teams have games today starting at 3:30.

Open Doors

The following Open Doors classes meet today, Wednesday, January 7^th  

• Playwriting and Puppet Workshop

Students in the Playwriting and Puppet Workshop invite friends and families to see their work at the library at 4p.m. today Wednesday, January 7^th.

        Session B students taking Playwriting will board bus #6 NOT bus #4 at 3:10.  Playwriting   students will check in with Open Doors at bus #6 before boarding the bus.

• Hip Hop

          Important reminder about Hip Hop

      At 2:40 dismissal Session A students enrolled in Hip Hop will go to the Kindness Center  (the room we danced in last week which is upstairs in the first hallway on the right hand side.)

      At 3:10 dismissal Session B students enrolled in Hip Hop will go to the cafeteria.  

           

All session A students taking Open Doors classes go to the cafeteria at 2:45 dismissal.

It is very important that all students riding the buses afterschool follow the bus expectations. 

Please mark your calendars for the Open Doors showcase for next Wednesday, January 14^th at 4 pm in the large gym featuring the Wednesday Hip Hoppers and the Wed/Thursday Drumming for Success students.  Both Drumming classes and also Hip Hoppers will go directly to the cafeteria at their dismissal time on Wed January 14th to get ready for their performance.
