SNACK
The Clementine orange is the tiniest of the mandarin orange varieties. Imported from Spain, Morocco, and other parts of North Africa, clementines are a cross between a sweet orange and a Chinese mandarin orange. They are small, very sweet, and usually seedless. Most people think of clementines as small tangerines, but they’re a different variety entirely, with a distinctive taste. The Clementine is an excellent eating orange, and its small size and lack of seeds make it particularly popular with kids!

OBSTACLE COURSE EVENT ON DECEMBER 20TH
Ms. Jarvis and Mr. Branon orchestrated a very exciting obstacle course event in the Big Gym on December 20th. Teams of students from each of the 4-6 Grade learning communities competed among and between communities to produce the fastest time through the student-created obstacle course. There were some remarkable performances. One group of teachers agreed to participate amidst a thunder of support. Mr. Mehaffey had several of his drumming students provide the sound for the competition. Overall the event was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who participated and to those who cheered them on.
