PICTURES AND REPORTS
LUNCH WITH A VERMONT LEGISLATOR, OUR CITY MAYOR AND A SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER Casey Toof (an alumnus of SACS), Tim Smith and Alisha Sawyer enjoyed a chicken, mashed potato, salad and whole wheat roll meal in the cafeteria this Monday 4-8-2019. Dining with them were our assistant principal, Stacie Rouleau, After-school programming specialist, Peg Jehle, and farm to school coordinator, Heather Smith. The purpose of their visit was to experience the meal system at St. Albans City School. St. Albans City School provides no-cost meals and snacks to all students. While the cafeteria was humming with voices and plenty of movement, the general vibe was a happy one. After eating their own meals, the three visitors mingled among the students to ask them about their meals and what was on their minds. LINK TO 25 PICTURES |
