INSTRUCTION BY OUR SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER Officer Tally has been guest teaching during Mrs. Lamb’s Family and Consumer Science 6th Grade classes for the past three weeks. Interactive Lesson taught By Officer Tally in the Too Good program so far have focused on goals setting and helpful steps when Making decisions: 1) Stop - what decision do I need to make? 2) Think - picture a positive outcome, list options and consequences  3) Act - consider best option  4) Reflect - think about it, did it come out as you hoped Officer Tally will be teaching the Too Good program for a total of ten weeks. If you are the parent of a sixth-grade student be sure to be on look out for students weekly homework assignment that encourages families to participate with your student on recent lessons learned.  LINK TO 21 PICTURES  Join the SACS Music Department for a  Spaghetti Dinner! The Calendar is posted on the wall in the hall outside Ms Stacie’s office.   Vision Screening Tuesday, February 4th through Thursday, February 6th the Enosburg Lions Club will be here helping us conduct vision screenings.  If your student has any prescription glasses please be sure they have them at school during this time period. Family members are welcome to attend although there is no expectation for doing so. The puppet shows are geared for each 1-3 learning community. This is funded by BOKAN Ford, Dodge, Jeep, Ram BOX TOPS SACS will be making our final submission of paper box tops.  Please drop yours off to the front desk by February 26th.  If you have not done so, download the app to keep helping SACS earn through box tops.  Thank you! Check out this LINK TO A 3.5 MINUTE VIDEO about where our beef comes from. We visited the Choiniere family farm in 2016 and filmed their healthy dairy and beef cows. This month we have an all-new Vermont Harvest of the Month crop...beef! All beef products come from different parts of a cow, and it is a great source of high-quality protein and nutrients, particularly iron. Cows are native to India but spread to China, Africa, and Europe where they were then brought to America by European explorers in 1493. Now, cows can be found all over the globe in many different types of cuisine. The United States produces about 20% of the world's beef making them the largest producer in the world followed by Brazil, Europe, and China.
