TEAM USA MORNING MEETING
Team USA is staying connected by hosting a morning meeting each day at 9am. Information from the teachers and City School are shared. Students get to share what is going on with them or any questions they may have. It has been a nice way to check in with students and share some face time with each other. Teachers have also set up Office Hours for parents and students to check-in online. Team USA continues to update our home page, www.teamusavt.org, with updates and important documents.
MEALS AVAILABLE AT SCHOOL Ms. Titus and Mrs. Dupont are shown serving pick up meals at the gym lobby. They are ready to serve meals from 11:00-12:30 every weekday. They made a painting on canvas and wanted to share them for the daily announcements. MORE ART RAIDER UPDATE Raider had his first on line morning meeting today. BARKER'S PRE-K LEARNING
Hello from a parent. I've seen that you’ve still kept the announcements newsletter up and I have to tell you about Mr.Barker. My daughter is in his class and he does youtube videos of things that they would do in class so that they are still able to do them. Here are links to two of them. I just love that we are still able to be a part of his classroom even when we are unable to be at school.
OUTDOOR BREAK STEAM staff member, Ms. Rankin, took a moment away from advising SACS teachers about online engagement to go outside and build a snow blob with her daughter. 3-24-2020 CONTENT WANTED St. Albans City School families and staff members, if you have anything positive to share on the announcements that show what students and adults are doing to promote learning and a sense of community in this time of uncertainty, then please send it on to Mr. Craib at mcraib@maplerun.org. Please add a short descriptive note to go with your content. It would also be helpful if you wrote that you are providing consent to share your images, video clips, artwork, etc... Thank you. |
