PICTURES WETLANDS PATHWAYS For many years now the Voyagers learning community has taken on the wetlands as their stewardship project. The wetlands is a place where students can observe frogs, garter snakes and native Vermont plants in an amazing way. To access this area pathways through the wetlands need to be walkable. On Tuesday, October 6th and Thursday, October 8th, the Voyagers carried in bags of wood chips to line the pathways with. Now teachers can easily lead students into portions of the wetlands. More will be done in the upcoming months to complete the wood-chipped pathway system. INVESTIGATORS CHIPMUNK We came across this cute little animal on our way in from recess. Ms. Fitzgerald’s classroom. Link to 18 second long video IMAGINATION - JOHNSON & KOLDYS 2nd and 3rd graders were guided through the rules for playing kickball on Friday, October 2020. It was perfect weather for being outside.
