SNOWSHOES DURING P.E. (RENAISSANCE AND USA)
P.E. Teacher, Mr. Branon, took some USA and Renaissance students out for snowshoe sessions on Friday, January 8th. Students learned how to put the shoes on properly before exploring their capabilities. They raced each other across the soccer fields, walked the wetland pathways, and climbed up the massive snow pile created by clearing off the parking lots. The snowshoes have metal teeth on the bottom for traction. While snowshoes are not essential at these modest snow depths, it is good for students to learn about snowshoes in case they ever want to access Vermont's beautiful mountain trails in the heart of winter when snow depths are often substantial. WOODLAND PICTURES

It is the time of year where all the kindergarten classrooms focus on the study of woodland animals. Learning about local animals is a great way to motivate young students to learn about nature, enhance their art skills, and start developing their reading and writing skills. When these pictures were taken, Ms. Dupont had students brainstorming a list of woodland animals. Most students were excited to contribute.

PRE-K & K SNOWTUBING - ANDREWS (Dreamers and Adventurers)

The sledding conditions were incredible on Monday, 1-11-2021. It was slippery enough for kids to make it down the sledding hill and more than halfway across the soccer field. Ms. Andrews and Ms. Burroughs were supervising Ms. Farrell and Ms. LeBlanc's students. Link to 13 Pictures
