PICTURES ADVENTURERS - FARRELL AND LEVINE Ms. Farrell’s kindergarten students were doing some great literacy work (learning letters and their sounds) when these pictures were taken. There are also some photos of them engaged in a movement break that they really loved doing. Our literacy interventionist, Ms. Levine worked with the students in and out of the classroom space during this time period. 1-25-2021. Link to 41 Pictures ADVENTURERS - KOSKI As the end of the school day approached in Ms. Koski’s PreK classroom, she invited the students to join her in a yoga and dance session. It was impressive how enthusiastic and capable these young students were. 1-22-2021. Link to 31 Pictures. INCREDIBLES - KNOTT Solving word problems takes time to develop understanding and skill. Ms. Knott guided her students through a number of challenging problems while giving everyone a chance to ask questions and outline their strategies. 1-25-2021. Link to 21 Pictures BFA STUDENTS VOLUNTEERING AT SACS Former SACS teacher and current BFA staff member, Ms. Konrad, introduced high school volunteers to teachers on the Travelers team Monday, January 25th. They were here to fulfill their human services requirement and to explore the option of becoming a teacher someday. Each Travelers teacher will have two of these students with them on Mon/Tue and another two students on Thu/Fri. They will volunteer for several hours a day between fulfilling their other BFA expectations. | ||||||||||

8TH GRADER BABY PICTURES WANTED The yearbook committee would like 8th graders to submit baby pictures for the yearbook. It is best if you submit digital copies of your pictures to Mr. Craib at mcraib@maplerun.org. If you need to bring in the original image for scanning, you can give it to your teacher who will pass it on to Mr. Craib. The picture will be scanned as soon as it is received and immediately returned safely to the student. |
