PICTURES NAVIGATORS - EMMONS For the last four weeks, we have been learning about animals in different winter ecosystems. The last week and a half have been all about owls. We have explored the different types of owls in Vermont and worldwide. We listened to the different sounds owls make during their interactions with the world around them. We even watched a video of an owl regurgitating an owl pellet! It was awesome! These are pics of our students dissecting owl pellets! We found bones from other birds, shrews, moles, rats, and mice! So cool and the kids were very engaged! They recorded their results in their owl pellet journals:). Miss Tara. HOCKEY The Saint Albans Special Leafs traveled to Boston this past weekend and played against the East Coast Jumbos. One athlete on the team, a student in our school, Emmett, scored his first goal!
