NEWS AND PICTURES ARRIVAL FOR CAMP SESSION TWO Link to 5 Pictures from camp drop-off. COMMUNITY SERVICE AT THE FRANKLIN COUNTY ANIMAL RESCUE CENTER The community service campers and staff delivered donations to the rescue center and had a good visit with the cats while there. 7-20-2023. Link to 8 Pictures. BOARD GAMES (CAMP 1) The first board games camp traveled to Burlington last Thursday to visit the Board Room/Board games cafe. This business not only serves food but it has hundreds of board games for visitors to try out. The board games campers had a great time. 7-20-2023. Link to 3 Pictures. BOARD GAMES (CAMP 2) Photos were taken of campers playing various board games and playing gaga ball. CHICKENS AND GARDENS The Chickens and gardening group this summer session is large. Therefore, the camp leaders chose to split the campers into three rotating groups. One group worked on a craft project in one of the USA classrooms. Another group learned about the chickens and help harvest some new potatoes. The last group played intense games of gaga ball. 7-24-2023. It was interesting hearing how a weasel and a fox have been reducing our flock of chicken numbers. Link to 5 pictures. BAY CAMP 2 The campers focused on fishing on Monday 7-24-2023. INFORMATION ABOUT TEMPORARY SUMMER FOOD BENEFITS FOR ALL STUDENTS All students at our school will be receiving the Summer P-EBT benefit of $120 which can be spent on food at the grocery store, farmers markets, and some convenience stores and online retailers.
