Spotlight on The Incredibles

Incredibles Cooking Challenge
By Camille & Gabbi
The Incredibles Community have been working on procedure pieces. Most of the students decided to share a special recipe, and how to make it.

On Friday, April 20th, The Incredibles held a cooking challenge. Teachers and students who did not do a recipe got to go around and taste each dish. There were entrees, appetizers and desserts. At the end, the dishes were judged and some of them even won awards. Trevor  won best presentation with his Yellow Cake, Maia had best poster advertisement with her Strawberry Banana Smoothie, Naz won best appetizer with his Crackers and Cheese, Skye won best entree with her Turkey, Mason won best dessert with his Peanut Butter Fudge, Janiel won most unique dish with his Limbes, Kerianna won best tasting dish with her Yak, and Kira won most creative with her chocolate covered spoons. Congratulations to everybody!

Name That Smoothie!

Yogurt Berry Smoothies are officially on the breakfast menu, however, they lack a cool name! We have had some great suggestions including: Rail City Smoothie, Raiderberry Smoothie, Raiders' Fuel, The Smoothinator, Berrylicious, and Bursting Berry Spectacular. Can you think of more? We will vote on the best names next week! Either email gunterd@fcsuvt.org or tell Mrs. Trainer or Mrs. Gunter at lunch.
